Kashmir's floating market: It disappears after sunrise| Oneindia News
The Dal Lake in Srinagar is well known for its majestic view, enjoyed by tourists from one of the many houseboats bobbing on its surface.
But, a little less-known is an ephemeral market which appears at the of dawn and disapperas with the sunrise.
This is one of the few floating markets in the world, where fresh vegetables, picked from the floating gardens nearby, are sold at wholesale rates, and are lapped up quickly by vendors.
